Diary of a Wimpy Kid is
an excellent funny series that is mom/dad, kid and teacher tested and
approved. Jeff Kinney, the author, uses a combination of text
and hand drawn images to entertain and mesmerize kids of all ages.

This book has gotten so much praise. Adult reviewers have said it is laugh out loud funny. And I think that it has to do with the fact that a 'family vacation' is at the center of the story.
