These three books are the easiest practice readers penned by Dr. Seuss. I used them with my own children when they were older babies and toddlers. I pointed at various objects and gave their names and colors. And I always tracked my finger over the words so that gradually Laura and David figured out that those funny squiggles on the page matched what momma was saying. And, of course, Seuss' rhymes helped build their strong foundation in phonics.
Highly recommend.
