I made this single-book list because children like the Big Red Dog (as I do) and Clifford's Big Book of Things to Know is the only Clifford book at the 4th Grade level. I thought it might be an interesting read for children at lower grades who are reading above grade level. Or else that it would make an interesting book to share with a younger child who don't read at all.

Clifford's Big Book of Things to Know
by Norman Bridwell
3.50 Stars — 8 ratings
In this book, Emily Elizabeth and Clifford share what they have learned about the human body, caring for pets, ocean life, the seasons, recycling, and much more.
The book has received mixed reviews. At GoodReads it received 3.50 Stars from 8 reviewers, and there's one 4-star review from Amazon. (As of August 2013). The single most dissenting opinion appears to come from the reviewer from SchoolLibraryJournal who apparently didn't care for it at all. Her main objection seems to be that book is not encyclopedic enough.
Fortunately many of you will be able to find this book at the library, and for those that think like me that it might be a good 'lap book', it's available for a penny+shipping from the Used market.
