R.J. Palacio reading levels

This uplifting book from RJ Palacio has earned a huge number of awards, but it won't be for every adult. It's just one of those books that's really geared for Young Adults.

At the center of the story is August Pullman, a boy with who was born with a facial deformity so disturbing that the author can't even describe it. And yet, now that August is 10 years old his parents have agreed that he should attempt a mainstream school. So he begins his first year at Beecher Prep, where Auggie wants nothing better than to be treated as a regular kid.

What happens is inspiring. And the reader gets to the see events unfold from first Auggie's and then his classmates and sister.
