James Dashner is a popular Middle-grade and Young Adult author. This series --Maze Runner-- falls into the YA category. There is violence, fake bad language, but no 'adult' situations.
Dashner's series is guy-friendly.
There's a constant flow of mysteries to solve and the action is
non-stop. Highly recommend.
