MORGANVILLE VAMPIRES reading level information

Rachel Caine has whipped up a fabulously popular Urban Vampire series.  By the end of 2013 there will be 15 books in the series and quite a few short stories.  Definitely chicklit, and definitely not for Tweens. 

Backstory:

Claire Danvers is a brainy 16 year-old whose parents won't let her go away to an ivy league school because of her age.  So she ends up at a local college, Texas Prairie University.  As it turns out though Claire might have been better off far away because the town of Morganville is filled with vampires and vampire killers.

Notes:
--books in this series can be found in hardback, paperback and audio and e-versions, and probably at most libraries.
--Used books are very affordable and sometimes the hardbacks are cheaper than the paperbacks.  Libraries are, of course, free.
